For clients of our traditional DietMD® weight loss program, your first in-office visit with us is approximately 90 minutes long. During this time, you will meet with our DietMD® weight loss experts - a physician's assistant AND a registered dietitian or nutritionist.
Together, we will discuss your health history, current health conditions, eating and exercise habits, and your overall weight loss and health goals.

For patients in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, we recommend fasting for your first in-office visit. Any recommended lab work can be done right in our office, immediately following your scheduled appointment.
Lab work may be covered by insurance.* Depending on the specific tests you and our DietMD® team choose to order, lab costs can range from $0 to $400. There are no surprise bills - we can recommend lab work that fits into any budget!
