Herb Roasted Chicken



In today's blog post, we are thrilled to share our take on a delectable herb-roasted chicken recipe inspired by the vibrant flavors of Sweetgreen. Imagine succulent chicken infused with aromatic herbs, a dish that not only tantalizes your taste buds but also nourishes your body and soul. Trust us you'll be obsessed with this recipe. This chicken is perfect for easy weekly meal prep or quick and delicious weeknight family dinners.


Ingredients for 4 lbs chicken:

- 1/2 Tbsp Crushed red pepper

- 1.5 Tbsp Black pepper

- 1 Tbsp Salt

- 1 Tbsp Cumin

- 1 Tsp Coriander

- 2 Tbsp Chili powder

- 1/4 Cup Balsamic vinegar

- 1/2 Cup Oil


Aim to marinate for at least 1 hr - 24 hrs for the best flavor



  1. Set out your marinated chicken 30-60 minutes ahead of cooking

  2. Heat a pan to medium-high and add some avocado oil to the pan

  3. Cook your chicken 4-6 minutes per side or until around 165 F internal

  4. Serve with your favorite sides like cauli-rice, cilantro lime rice, salad etc.


We served ours with a side salad using Chick Fil A's avocado lime ranch dressing and 3/4 cup cilantro lime rice 👌
